Elementary School Front Office Manager (IMMEDIATE OPENING) Match Education Match Community Day Public Charter School – Boston, Massachusetts Starting Date: Aug 12, 2026 Job Description Match Community Day (MCD), a Pre‑K to 5 elementary school, seeks an experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the front office at the Hyde Park campus located at 100 Poydras St., Hyde Park, MA. MCD serves over 600 students across two buildings within a 100‑foot radius. The Front Office Manager will be the primary point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, ensuring a respectful and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include managing student records, attendance, communication, health needs, and public area cleanliness. Responsibilities Implement and maintain front office systems with fidelity and collaborate with the other building’s manager for consistency and efficiency. Deliver exemplary customer service and gracefully manage parents, visitors, phone calls, and messages. Prepare, format, and execute school documents and mailings to be sent home. Prepare announcements for upcoming events and coordinate with the operations team to send flyers and automated calls to families. Assist with building cleanliness and public space appearance. Collaborate with Operations Assistants and the Operations team on meal services and the purchasing/organization of supplies and materials. Assist with the management and maintenance of student electronic data using PowerSchool, Deanslist, and Google Apps for Education. Record and modify student attendance data (tardies, early dismissals) for accurate daily attendance capture. Maintain student dismissal lists for bus pickups and drop‑offs. Manage student form collection and maintain accurate records for all students. Help manage the progress report and report card distribution process. Build and maintain strong relationships with MCD parents and serve as the main communication line, including sending automated calls when needed. Provide translation/interpretation services for MCD as needed. Help uphold student behavior expectations. Qualifications Strong commitment to Match’s mission and vision. At least 2 years of office experience, preferably in a school (highly preferred). Fluent in Spanish (required) and Haitian Creole (strongly preferred). Ability to interact well with multiple stakeholders: students, parents, teachers, administrators, community members, and visitors. Proficient in using technology for communication and data organization, especially email and Google Suite applications (Sheets, Documents, Slides). Superb written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational systems and a warm, calm, welcoming presence. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Capability to work independently and collaboratively. Growth mindset and eagerness to receive and implement feedback. Job Details Position Type: Full‑time Salary: $70,054 per year (potentially higher based on experience) Hours: School days 7:00 am–2:45 pm; Wednesdays until 4:30 pm for professional development.
