Strategic Account Manager New York, NY

AMPLITUDE

Amplitude is an AI analytics platform that helps companies build better products and digital experiences. Mission This individual will manage a select portfolio of high-value, complex enterprise accounts, including both existing customers and new logos. They will build meaningful executive relationships, develop and execute strategic account plans, and drive ARR growth by expanding product adoption and delivering exceptional customer value. The Strategic AE must excel at navigating multi‑stakeholder environments, managing complex sales cycles, and leveraging internal and external resources to achieve measurable success. Vision with Action Balancing strategic thinking with decisive execution is foundational for an Amplitude Strat AE. It ensures they can turn bold ideas into measurable outcomes while maintaining momentum and overcoming roadblocks. This trait drives both long‑term strategy and immediate results. Quiet Confidence & Executive Presence Leads impactful conversations across all organizational levels, from C‑level executives to practitioners. Demonstrates the ability to listen actively, challenge viewpoints constructively, and influence decisions with confidence. Ownership Takes responsibility for driving outcomes and aligning resources, ensures accountability and consistently delivers results. Customer Relationships Builds trust‑based relationships with customers, internal teams, and third‑party stakeholders by consistently delivering value and prioritizing customer needs in every decision. Industry Awareness Stays ahead of industry trends and competitors while mastering Amplitude's products to position solutions effectively within accounts. Leverages curiosity to drive deeper customer engagement, uncover valuable insights, and tailor solutions that address critical business needs—often understanding customer challenges and goals better than the customers themselves. High Standards Maintains a relentless commitment to excellence in every aspect of the role—from building executive relationships to driving revenue growth—ensuring credibility and trust with customers and internal teams. Forecasting & Pipeline Management Proven ability to manage pipelines effectively while maintaining accurate forecasts. Operational Excellence Organization & Prioritization: Efficiently manages time, tasks, and resources to achieve goals while maintaining focus on high‑impact activities. Follow‑Up & Accountability: Ensures timely follow‑through on commitments to customers and internal teams while maintaining accountability for results.
