LHH is searching for an ambitious Accounts Receivable Accountant who is eager to grow their career in a fast-paced startup environment. The AR Accountant will be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle, supporting month-end close activities, and partnering with internal teams to improve processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly and continuous improvement is encouraged. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely payment.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues.
• Prepare and maintain AR aging reports and communicate collection trends to leadership.
• Process daily cash receipts and accurately apply payments to customer accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Reconcile AR subledger balances to the general ledger.
• Support revenue accounting and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, and operations teams to improve billing accuracy and collection efforts.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance internal controls as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Two or more years of accounts receivable, accounting, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of AR processes, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated desire to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and grow within an organization.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour
