Quick Facts Location: Belle Chasse, LA Start Date: 07/29/2024 End Date: 09/30/2027 Shift: Day shift, Monday Friday, 8.5 or 9 hours (including lunch) Hours/Week: 40-45 hours Employment Type: 1099 Licenses/Certifications: Active, unrestricted Clinical Psychologist license; BLS certification Experience: Minimum 1 year as a licensed Clinical Psychologist Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $100/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You ll Do Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing clinical interviews, testing, and collateral sources Establish psychiatric diagnoses following APA guidelines and DSM criteria Provide individual and group psychotherapy to diverse patient populations Assist medical and surgical patients in managing illnesses or injuries through psychological interventions Perform targeted assessments, including diagnostic impressions and functional evaluations Practice within state licensing board guidelines, APA ethical principles, and privileges Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient mental health needs What You Need Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program Successful completion of APA-accredited internship/residency At least 1 year of experience as a licensed Clinical Psychologist Active, unrestricted license to practice in any state Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification Ability to pass a government background check/security clearance Preferred: Experience working with military or healthcare populations; strong assessment and diagnostic skills About the Assignment This position is based at a reputable military healthcare facility in Belle Chasse, LA. You will provide essential psychological services to active-duty personnel and their families, performing evaluations, diagnosis, and therapy within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting the mental health of service members.
