Step into a rewarding role supporting students and educators for the 2026-2027 school year as a full-time School Psychologist serving a vibrant community near the New Orleans area. This onsite position offers the opportunity to make a daily impact in educational settings, partnering closely with staff to ensure the academic, behavioral, and emotional success of students. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through May 27, 2027, following the school district’s calendar.

Bring your expertise and empathy to a collaborative environment and play a pivotal role in shaping positive student experiences as you work directly within the school community.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification (DOE Cert) is mandatory
  • Background as a School Psychologist with strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
  • Ability to complete district-specific credentialing, including drug screening and fingerprinting
  • Open to full-time (35 hours per week), with a schedule aligned to the school’s calendar
  • Familiarity working with students of various age groups and adapting to changing caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments of students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Support social-emotional learning and offer crisis intervention
  • Advise staff and parents on behavior management and inclusive classroom strategies
  • Document services delivered and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
