School Psychologist Teletherapy - Louisiana

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Telehealth School Psychologist opportunity available for the 2026-2027 academic year in the New Orleans area, serving Jefferson Parish Schools in Harvey, LA. This full-time contract position requires delivering psychological services via telehealth, aligning with the school calendar from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for assigned caseloads
  • Delivering telehealth counseling and support to students across multiple schools (exact number and caseload to be determined)
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student learning and behavioral needs
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification
  • Valid professional license in the state of residence
  • Strong preference for candidates holding a National Certification in School Psychology (especially for out-of-state applicants)
  • Ability to obtain Louisiana licensure if currently out-of-state
  • Experience with telehealth service delivery highly desirable

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday according to the school calendar

This role demands a prompt onboarding process, with decisions typically made the same day of application submission. Licensure must be current or in progress at the time of hire.
