Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time school psychologist position is available to serve students through telehealth in the Metairie, LA area. This contract role supports school districts within the New Orleans region, focusing on providing psychological services during the academic year.

Key details:

• Position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027
• Schedule aligns with the school calendar, Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch (35 hours/week)
• Caseload and specific age groups to be determined based on district needs

Qualifications and Licensure:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education certification required
• Active state license for the candidate’s state of residence is necessary
• National certification preferred, especially for candidates outside Louisiana, due to licensure processing requirements

Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, providing telehealth counseling, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with school staff to support student mental health and academic success.
