Our Aligned DNA is what makes us unique and successful!As part of our exciting growth, we are currently searching for a Manager, Architectural Design.This individual will work directly with the internal and external design teams, contractors, platform delivery and operations departments to ensure technical compliance of installed systems against existing standards. This role requires strong technical and communication skills to ensure that all critical systems operate synchronously. A successful Architecture Manager with Aligned will possess a hunger to drive efficiencies and innovation, the humility to understand we are all working together during the construction process, and a heart to provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers, and vendors.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:DesignReview and responsibility for civil, structural, and architectural standards and updatesReview of responsibility of DEC with regards to building code updates and complianceReview and responsibility for each phase of design deliverableSupport content preparation and presentation to achieve Aligned business approvalsLead and support conceptual and directional design decisions at their inceptionExecutionTechnical investigations and problem solving as requiredTechnical responsibility to validate project is ready for serviceTechnical lead for site performance shortfalls, failures, and issue resolutionRevenueReview and responsibility for customers/pursuits when any deviation to designs or standards is requiredLead technical investigations and assessment of assets under consideration for acquisition.Forward VisionStrong industry and vendor participation and interaction to be aware of industry leading technologiesTechnical leadership in understanding and evaluating sustainable practices and support business goals for sustainabilityCollaborate with customer technical needs to ensure Aligned is aware and keeping pace with industry technical developmentsLead technical review and validation of new technologiesCommunicationsLead discussions, written and verbal, with Aligned senior leadership and Board of DirectorsIndividual should be able to communicate complex topics to work groups of varying technical experienceLead/support technical training for teammatesSTRONGLY DESIRED WORKING EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF:Project Management Software (MS Projects, Prolog, Procore, BIM 360, or similar).Knowledge and experience working with CADMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.Field experience of 10+ years can substitute for this requirementMinimum 5 years’ Design or project management experience within data center environment strongly preferred.Architecture license preferredMechanical/Electrical understanding a plus.Advanced experience in Excel and AutoCADStrong written and verbal communication skills.Deep understanding of the Data Center design and construction process.Ability to multi-task, with strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality always.Team Player across the organizationAbility to interpret construction drawings and specificationsMay travel at times up to 25%Ability to understand construction project scopes.BENEFITS & PERKS:Aligned Data Centers is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to support the health, well-being, and financial security of our team members.
