Location: Phoenix, AZ Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually Manager, Design Brand Compliance Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid Mon,Wed,Fri) Contact: Email resume to David Kellogg – View email address on click.appcast.io Job Overview The Manager, Design Brand Compliance leads brand design compliance initiatives with a focus on FF&E specification and Property Improvement Plan (PIP) execution. This role combines technical design expertise, program oversight, and team leadership to ensure alignment with Best Western brand standards. Key Responsibilities Lead design compliance programs to ensure adherence to brand standards and review processes. Provide technical leadership to Senior Designers, focusing on FF&E specifications and documentation accuracy. Review interior design submittals and FF&E deviation requests to maintain brand consistency. Manage PIP execution, including scope interpretation, submission review, compliance tracking, and property-level improvements. Prepare monthly board materials, including agendas, project summaries, PIP cost estimates, FF&E budgets, and property background. Track project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely submissions. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, hotel owners, and external partners to resolve design issues. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide design guidance and maintain strong relationships. Drive process improvements and support departmental goals while upholding brand standards. Qualifications Required 6+ years of experience in interior design or architecture (hospitality preferred) Strong expertise in FF&E specification, sourcing, pricing, and lifecycle management Experience developing PIP cost estimates and interpreting budgets Strong organizational and multi-project management skills Excellent communication skills for both design and non-design audiences Ability to influence design decisions and enforce brand standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Experience working with hotel Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) 1+ years of people management experience Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience) NCIDQ certification Experience with commercial-grade design products Leadership & Team Manage and lead a team of up to five employees Provide coaching, guidance, and oversight to senior-level designers Work Schedule Hybrid work model Onsite: Monday, Wednesday, Friday Remote: Tuesday, Thursday Location: 6201 N 24th Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85016 Travel Requirements Up to 10% travel for property support, regional meetings, and annual events #J-18808-Ljbffr The Judge Group
