About the Role:

The Order Intake Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless processing and management of customer orders from initial receipt through to fulfillment. This position is responsible for accurately capturing order details, verifying customer information, and coordinating with internal teams to guarantee timely delivery. The specialist acts as a key liaison between customers and various departments, facilitating clear communication and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during the order intake process. By maintaining meticulous records and adhering to company policies, the Order Intake Specialist helps optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the company’s revenue flow and reputation by ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in order processing, customer service, or a related administrative role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and accurately enter customer orders into the order management system.
• Verify order details including product specifications, quantities, pricing, and delivery requirements.
• Communicate with customers to clarify order information and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

• Maintain detailed records of all orders and update order status as necessary.
