Role Summary The Global Brand Sr Designer is responsible for championing our brand standards while primarily supporting our production and presentation work. The sr designer would communicate directly with our business partners across the firm to produce a variety of multi-media and online materials including marketing collateral, conferences, social, advertising campaigns, and brand template systems. The sr designer also will collaborate with the broader Design and Editorial staff. The role will also have a focus on PowerPoint, graphic arts, digital media, and data visualization, but may also support user interface design, web content, etc. Due to the focus area in PowerPoint, this role will also provide training and guidance to less experienced associates. Responsibilities:

• Applies advanced knowledge to develop creative solutions to marketing challenges and identify effective strategies for designs across multiple design mediums.
• Fosters collaborative relationships with internal (design and editorial) and external resources (freelancers, production vendors, etc.) to realize and implement creative design concepts. Supports a diverse internal client base with varying expectation levels, providing responsive and relevant advice on their ongoing creative initiatives.
• Applies and champions brand guidelines and promotes internal standards to business partners to drive consistency, brand alignment, and design integrity. Scans for and identifies situations where there is an inconsistent visual experience and works with peers to align the various mediums (print, Web, and interactive) under guidance from more senior colleagues. May partner with technology colleagues to test user experience design for digital media.
• May assist in managing production and deployment of creative content, resource scheduling, and project timelines.
• Update/edit existing print and digital assets - content, data, charts/graphs
• Create/update/edit PowerPoint Presentations
• Conduct image searches to align with content in marketing materials
• Create and manipulate graphics through Adobe Creative Suite apps such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Assess project specs/requirements and ensure final output adheres to both brand guidelines and project-specific requirements
• Work within our MRM system, following existing workflow processes to ensure projects progress in a timely manner - including reviewing and proofing materials before job is marked as complete
• Manage variable volume, including higher volume quarter end periods

Qualifications: Required:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
• 5+ years of total relevant work experience.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated understanding of investment management industry
• Accessibility proficiency (WCAG/ADA)
• Figma experience
• Basic knowledge of web-development software, including HTML5
• Excellent data visualization, graphic design, and analytical skills
• Extremely proficient with PowerPoint including complex charting using live Excel-based data
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Excellent relationship building and consultative skills
• Comfort in manipulating and working with data
• Outstanding visual design skills and animation experience
• Ability to listen to complex ideas and distill them into easy-to-understand concepts including compelling story telling where applicable
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
