Corporate HR Generalist

| Opelousas, LA | $70K+ DOE | Full-Time

Position Summary


We are hiring an experienced Corporate HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations for a growing company in Opelousas. This position offers strong long-term growth potential in a business professional/casual environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily HR operations and employee support
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration
  • Coordinate onboarding and new-hire processes
  • Handle employee relations matters
  • Maintain HR records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
  • Manage and update employee information within the HRIS
  • Support additional HR initiatives and projects as needed
Requirements

  • Previous Human Resources experience required
  • Experience with payroll, benefits, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and best practices
  • HRIS experience required
  • Paycom experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional and confidential when handling employee information
Schedule

  • Monday-Friday; Full-Time
Pay

  • $70,000+ annually, depending on experience
