Quality Inspectors 1st Shift

Overview Kelly Science and Clinical FSP is currently seeking a Quality Inspector-1st Shift for a long-term engagement in Bridgewater, MA with one of our Global Medical Device clients. Responsibilities Perform inspections of machined components, assemblies and castings to support receiving inspection, validations, and process improvement activities. Perform open set-up inspections utilizing a variety of inspection equipment and visual standards. Support Raynham Operator Certification initiatives throughout the facility. Mechanical inspection will be performed. Utilize GD&T and blueprint reading skills daily. Qualifications A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required. Manufacturing background is required. 0-2 years of inspection experience in a precision machining and/or casting environment. Excellent written, oral communication, organization and computer skills. Preferred Skills Medical Device inspection experience. Blue print interpretation skills and a working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) applications. Working knowledge of various applications of shop mathematics. ASQ Certification. Optical Comparators experience.
