MECHANICAL WORKER – WELDER 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a  Mechanical Worker - Welder for a company based in Calera, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow with the ability to learn all different mechanical aptitudes with repairing train carts.

Pay Rate
$18.00 to $21.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6 00 am to 4 30 pm. 

Mechanical Worker - Welder   Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements. 
  • Cut, fit, and weld steel components used in trailers, truck bodies, industrial equipment, or custom metal products. 
  • Perform MIG welding on structural steel, frames, brackets, and assemblies. 
  • Use grinders, torches, drill presses, band saws, and other fabrication tools to prepare materials. 
  • Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, levels, and gauges. 
  • Assemble metal parts according to specifications and ensure proper alignment before welding.

Mechanical Worker - Welder   Qualifications  and Requirements

  • Fabricating and welding metal parts. 
  • Building and repairing mechanical assemblies. 
  • Ensuring product quality and dimensional accuracy. 
  • Supporting production goals and shop operations. 
  • Maintaining safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
