Additionally, you will develop and administer mental health assessments to screen for depression and evaluate mood, behavior, and cognitive function./ppYour clinical responsibilities will include evaluating complex patient conditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses; applying advanced knowledge of vital sign monitoring to identify and record abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature; performing routine assessments to monitor patient health and ensure overall well-being; conducting medication reviews to identify potential side effects and drug interactions./pulliYou will provide excellent patient-focused activities and connect with your patients to meet our ambition to be Americas most trusted health care company./liliAttend staff meetings, training, and continuing education as required./liliYou will manage patient access to healthcare and connect individuals with community resources for medication administration, self-care techniques, and disease management./liliYou will use your excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families and other healthcare professionals/li/ulpRequired Qualifications/pulliObtain and maintain full, active and unrestricted license(s) in the State for which MA provides services./liliObtain and maintain credentialing and re-credentialing requirements as necessary./liliObtain and maintain an Active BLS Certification to administer Basic Life Support (BLS) and other Life Saving Measures, including, but not limited to, performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)/liliExperience with documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, performing point of care testing and care coordination./liliExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and the members of the clinical care team./liliDemonstrates initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability, flexibility, and has the ability to work independently./liliPhysical presence in a retail/clinic setting is required./liliRegular and reliable attendance./liliTypically involves prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, reaching, and use of hands and arms for clinical tasks; and the ability to position patients and equipment./liliRequires sufficient visual acuity (including close vision) and manual dexterity to perform clinical procedures and operate computers and clinical equipment./liliMay involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials; however, training and personal protective equipment are provided and safety and infection control procedures must be followed./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliPrevious experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room./liliExperience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system such as Epic./liliPrevious phlebotomy, vaccine administration and point-of-care experience./liliPrevious experience with patient registration/liliExperience working in a clinical setting with diverse cultural dynamics among staff and patients./liliProven ability to manage sensitive information ethically and responsibly./li/ulpEducation/ppGraduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program/ppPay Range/ppThe typical pay range for this role is:/pp$18.50 - $42.35/ppThis pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
