Social Studies Teacher (5th - 8th Grade)

Overview Gross Schechter Day School is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Middle School Social Studies Teacher to help students develop a deeper understanding of history, geography, civics, economics, and the diverse cultures that shape our world. The ideal candidate will inspire students to think critically, ask meaningful questions, analyze multiple perspectives, and make connections between the past and present. Responsibilities Plan and deliver standards-based instruction for middle school social studies. Facilitate discussions and inquiry-based learning. Assess student growth and communicate progress. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture. Maintain strong communication with families.
