Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

• Travel Rate: $75 – $80/hour ($2,700 – $2,880/week) – Based on experience
• Local Rate: $60 – $65/hour ($2,070 – $2,242/week) – Based on experience

A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both general and critical care settings, including emergency and trauma care.

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to patients across all age groups.
• Manage ventilators and support patients in critical care settings.
• Respond to emergency and trauma situations requiring respiratory support.
• Perform assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in:
  • Adult & Pediatric General Care
  • Adult & Pediatric Critical Care
  • Emergency/Trauma Care
  • Neonatal Care

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)

• BLS (AHA)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist ( RRT ) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Valid New York State Respiratory Therapist License (NYSED)
• Primary Source Verification required

• Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist ( RPFT )
• ACLS, PALS, NRP (especially for Intensive Care Nursery experience)

• Candidates must meet all required qualifications to be considered.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
