Riviera Smiles is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for either a full-time or part-time position. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of dental assisting experience, possess strong clinical and front office skills, and be eager to contribute to a collaborative team. Bilingual Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply. Experience using Curved Dental and/or Dentrix software is a plus as we are transitioning between these systems. - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
- Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license from the state of California
Current X-Ray certification (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
Job Description
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring the highest standard of care
Take digital dental x-rays (X-Ray certification required)
Prepare and sterilize equipment and instruments according to infection control protocols
Welcome and prepare patients, ensuring comfort before, during, and after procedures
Support front office operations, including scheduling, checking in/out, and insurance verification
Accurately document patient records using dental software (Curved Dental, transitioning to Dentrix)
Maintain clean and organized operatories
Communicate effectively with patients and team members
Provide instructions for oral care following dental treatment and surgery
Bilingual Spanish communication is preferred for serving our diverse patient community

Tuesday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Saturday & Sunday: Closed
