Job Summary

The Software Firewalls (SW FW) team is the primary engine driving Palo Alto Networks' Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) and self-serve business. Spanning multiple key product lines—including VM-Series and Cloud NGFW across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI—we operate a high-velocity, cloud-native business motion. We are building a centralized Product Management lead function to unify our growth initiatives, eliminate operational friction, and drive consistent, scalable growth across our entire software firewall portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated product lead owning end-to-end Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies across the entire Software Firewall portfolio.
• Establish operational consistency and efficiency across product lines, eliminating duplicated efforts across cloud marketplace listings and buyer journeys.
• Oversee and streamline critical self-serve touchpoints, including cloud marketplace listings, sales compensation alignment, and business analytics.
• Leverage product analytics tools to track customer acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion metrics to drive actionable feature improvements.
• Collaborate across Business Analytics, Cloud Marketplace GTM, Growth Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, and Customer Support to drive cohesive execution. to be inputed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management or a closely related product leadership role.
• Proven success driving user acquisition, conversion, and retention for software products using Product-Led Growth (PLG) and self-serve strategies.
• Strong foundational domain knowledge of network security and the firewall business landscape.
• Exceptional ability to lead by influence, aligning disparate cross-functional teams around a single, cohesive self-serve strategy.
• Must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area for a hybrid workplace model at the Santa Clara HQ.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SaaS, cloud-based products, or public cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Hands-on experience using product analytics platforms like Pendo, Mixpanel, or Amplitude to analyze user funnels and improve retention.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
