In this role, you will follow the lead on the daily activities. You will also need to understand and follow all safety, quality and laminating procedures and communicate with the lead for decision making on quality and productivity needs.What You Will Do:Stage, load and prepare paper rolls at the laminatorUnwind, load and prepare foil rolls and unload rolls at laminator rewindSupport the crew during machine downtime (AM, short stops, breakdowns, setups, etc.)Understand the quality standards intended for the position, perform quality inspection using automated inspection equipmentMaintain logs and reports, reporting any anomalies that impact the quality of the process, complying with the client`s specificationsParticipate in WCM team activities to eradicate losses in the process following the methodologyComply with the safety policies and all measures including food safety standards like BRC, GMP established for the areaParticipate in Autonomous Maintenance teams and activitiesFollow AM methodology to drive down losses by improving machine reliability, quality, efficiency and maintaining the gain by standardizationHelp progress AM teams thru various steps, reaching autonomous level and maintaining the gainsPrevent waste generation by ensuring all lamination procedures are followedShift Schedule: 12-hour overnight shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)Work Pattern: Rotating weekly schedule, working every other weekend.Week 1: 36 hoursWeek 2: 48 hoursWe believe you have:High School Diploma or GEDPreferred 6 months experience in production/manufacturing or machine operation (required)Basic machine maintenance skillsQuality inspection and machine systems handlingIntermediate computer skillsDependability and reliabilityBasic math skills, basic reading comprehensionAbility to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures and World Class Manufacturing processesWe Offer You:A variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscapeA culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible resultsAn equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusionMarket competitive compensation and benefit: 401(K) company match, paid time off, paid holidays, health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave and much more!
