Brake Press OperatorAnchor Fabrication is a precision metal fabrication company located in Denton, Texas, and is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st shift hours at 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday plus any overtime.Salary Range $16.00 - $17.00 HourlyJob Shift Day Travel Percentage None$1,000 sign on bonus for experienced Brake OperatorsQualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, setting up and operating a Press Brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock according to blueprint or specifications.Duties and Functions:Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.Maintain a clean and safe work area.May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.Other duties as assigned.Experience and Qualifications:5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.Blueprint readingGood math skillsG/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.Epicor experience a plus.Education:High School or EquivalentTechnical School Experience a plusLocation: 1550 N.
