TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Beaufort, South Carolina, 29902!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Medical Surgical experience required. License: Must have a valid state license. Certifications: BCLS required. Must-Have: - Travelers must have stepdown/PCU experience. - Must be comfortable floating to PCU unit as needed. - Must not live within a certain radius of the facility. - Facility will not accept any license or background hits. - First-time travelers accepted. Description: Two nightshift travelers are needed. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical experience. Travelers will float to the PCU unit as needed. Individuals must not live within 50 miles of the facility. Travelers’ licenses must be clean without any hits. This unit has 29 beds, primarily focusing on general surgical and orthopedic cases with some medical overflow. The contract length is 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension. Shifts will include weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays as needed. Experience with IV starts and BCLS certification are required. Scrubs are not provided; candidates should wear royal blue and white. Charting system used is Meditech, with experience preferred but not mandatory. Expect to work some holidays and weekends as part of the rotation. Candidates should be comfortable with floating within the facility. Policies comply with current standards, including appropriate orientation to any new unit. Module completion is expected before the start of the assignment. References will be required during compliance. Return staff must be gone for 1 year and in good standing prior to departure.
