Air & Ocean Import Coordinator | Dallas, Texas | Salary up to $65,000 The Air & Ocean Import Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end import shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of documentation, and maintaining compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and international import requirements. Competitive salary up to $65,000 Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities within a global organization Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage international import shipments via air and ocean freight Prepare, review, and process import documentation, including bills of lading, arrival notices, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs entry documentation, and delivery orders Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and other applicable import laws and trade requirements Communicate with steamship lines, airlines, customs brokers, truckers, warehouses, and overseas agents to coordinate cargo movement and timely deliveries Provide proactive shipment updates and exceptional customer service to clients Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays, customs clearance issues, documentation discrepancies, and other operational challenges Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure all required documentation is submitted accurately and on time Maintain accurate shipment records within the transportation management system (TMS) Collaborate with internal departments, including warehouse, customs compliance, accounting, and operations teams Verify billing accuracy and ensure timely invoicing of import files Qualifications 2+ years of experience in import freight forwarding (air and/or ocean) Strong knowledge of air and ocean import documentation, customs clearance processes, and import procedures Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations and international import compliance requirements Experience using freight forwarding software such as CargoWise, Magaya, or similar TMS platforms Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr People Freight | Freight Forwarding & Logistics Recruitment Specialists
