DO;MD - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide extra night shift and weekend coverage across two emergency department locations


• Shifts at one location are 10 hours with various start times available: 6:00 AM 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM, 11:00 AM 9:00 PM, 1:00 PM 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM 1:00 AM, 5:00 PM 3:00 AM, or 9:00 PM 7:00 AM


• Shifts at second location are 12 hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM


• Candidates MUST be willing and available to work nights, swing shifts, and weekends


• Perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and other procedures within the scope of emergency medicine


• See and treat patients in the emergency department


• Must have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency Medicine


• Must be Stroke Certified


• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience outside of residency required
