Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends required per facility needs (every other) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a rehabilitation facility setting
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–8 in accordance with facility standards
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress accurately using Epic EMR
• Float between units within the facility as needed based on staffing requirements
• Commit to holiday coverage, including 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location as required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a rehabilitation hospital or similar specialty facility
• Familiarity with travel contract compliance requirements and scheduling flexibility
