About the Job As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. In this role, you will lead your team to manage the contract manufacturing partners and their day‑to‑day operations and systems in regards to logistics, inbound and outbound material, on‑time delivery and various other KPI and OKR related to the manufacturing footprint. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google’s product portfolio possible. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $165,000–$239,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The salary range listed reflects the base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Responsibilities Be responsible for a region of contract manufacturing operations for Google’s data center infrastructure hardware portfolio in relation to Google Cloud, storage, compute, machine learning, and network technology. Manage cross‑functional activities between contract manufacturers, NPI, engineering, supply chain, planning, quality and production. Evaluate business risks and improve key performance indicators (KPI) to enable flexible capacity for the customer’s needs. Provide mentoring and feedback to CM management team based on KPI and field quality feedback. Reduce complexity and improve communications between cross‑functional teams and platforms by establishing key ownership and identifying role and responsibility gaps.
