Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Care Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks, Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required At least two years recent experience in the field: Required Roles & Responsibilities: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients using established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines. Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to the patient's health and formulate care plans. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and supportive environment. Provide informational resources to patients, families, and team members to enhance understanding of care processes. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
