Industrial Mechanic

Industrial Mechanic Three (3) permanent full-time positions with Sterling Sugars, LLC in Franklin, Louisiana. Installation and scheduling of maintenance for state-of-the-art sugar factory machinery. Selects the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in the preparation of machinery work. Leads maintenance procedures. Maintains and repairs all sugar factory machinery and equipment. Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines. Inspect machinery and equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear. Test sugar factory machinery to ensure proper functioning. Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance using knowledge of the sugar industry. Two (2) years of verifiable experience in the sugar industry in the job offered is required. No minimum education level is required. No training is required, and no training is offered for the position. There is no requirement that the employee must live on the employer's premises, and this is not an option for the permanent role. 40hrs/wk. Overtime hours will vary and are not guaranteed.
