VCA Laurelhurst Animal Hospital is a growing and vibrant small animal practice located in the Laurelhurst area of NE Portland. We are adding a Certified Veterinary Technician to our team!

We have been serving the Laurelhurst community and surrounding area for many years. We are a fast-paced, modern, paperless hospital that provides wellness and preventative care, advanced nursing care, digital radiology, ultrasonography, surgery, dentistry, hospitalization, client education, and much more.

Compensation: $31 - $35 / hr

As a member of the VCA Laurelhurst team, you will support the Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Radiology
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dentistry
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy
• Patient recovery
• Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
• Client Education
• Supporting DVM team in outpatient appointments
