TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED) Configure, manage and troubleshoot Linux and Windows operating systems. Installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot and maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Responsibilities Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Must be proficient with troubleshooting in a Linux Red Hat environment. Extensive experience with VMWare. Demonstrated experience with modern automation/configuration tools such as Splunk or Ansible. STE/STN compliance and mitigation. VMWare, Ansible Required Experience Shall have a minimum of Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Desired Experience Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Education A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Compensation We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
