Set-Up Technician C

Overview Set‑Up Technician for Silver‑Line manufacturing facility in Fort Pierce, FL. Supports production by tearing down and re‑assembling tooling, equipment, and implementing changeovers as directed by Plant and Production Manager. Key Responsibilities Maintain safe work environment through training, adherence to policies & housekeeping. Position and adjust equipment and tooling to achieve proper product dimensions. Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality. Work with team and independently. Repair and perform preventive maintenance per established standards. Use hand tools and power tools daily. Operate simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as saws, pullers, bellers. Operate equipment that is heated up to 350°F. Use tools to ensure product quality is met. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Minimum 18 years of age. High school education or equivalency desired. At least 1 year of maintenance experience preferred; knowledge of maintenance or car repair. Experience working with and on extruders is a plus. Competencies Verbal and written communication skills. Key Relationships Regular communication with shift personnel, maintenance team and Plant management. Working Conditions Exposed to moderate hazards: moving machinery, repetitive motion, excessive noise, powered industrial vehicles, etc. Work in non‑controlled temperature environment. Occasional exposure to loud sounds. Prolonged standing on concrete, muscular action, body movements, working positions and visual attentiveness. Required protective equipment: eyewear, gloves, hearing protection, respiratory protection, safety shoes. Potential for mental tension or anxiety from job demands.
