Bus AideChambersburg Area School District is seeking a Bus Aide to ensure the safety and well-being of students while they are being transported to and from school.Essential Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentValid PA Driver's License and safe driving record.$2.00/hour differential provided if employee has a CDL license with an "S" endorsementExperience working with children, especially in a school or transportation setting preferred.Experience working with children with special needs.Bilingual and bicultural expertise is an assetEssential Functions:Ability to assist students with boarding and disembarking when necessaryAbility to interact clearly and effectively with students, parents and school staffEnsures students medical equipment and wheelchairs are properly handled and securedAssists students in and out of car seats, when necessary.
