What You'll Do
- Room patients and assist providers during exams and procedures
- Prepare and stock exam rooms
- Perform point-of-care testing and venipuncture
- Administer injections and vaccinations per orders
- Manage prescription refills and follow up on labs and testing
- Schedule appointments and support clinic workflow
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of clinical experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfort using EMR systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant program completion
- Bilingual Spanish/English (Not required)
Health & Safety Requirements
Employment in a medical facility requires proof of:
- TDAP (current booster)
- MMR series
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B series
- Annual Flu vaccine
- TB screening
