Rosewood Hotels andResorts is looking for evening turndown attendants and room attendants to joinour team.

Description:

Clean guest rooms asassigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guestrequests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guestrooms.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
• Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Clean guest rooms by category priority.
• Transport cart with cleaning supplies, amenities and linens to assigned guest room and position securely.
• Service assigned guest rooms.
• Check under bed(s), chairs and sofa for debris and remove if present.
• Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips or stains; report any damages to the supervisor.
• Remove all dust, debris and foreign particles from upholstered furniture including crevices and under cushions.
• Dust pictures, frames and mirrors. Remove dust and debris on television, clock radio, remote control and cable box.
• Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees.
• All other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum one years'experience cleaning hotel guest rooms.

Education: High school diploma orequivalent education.

General Skills : Good verbal andwritten communication skills, able to work quickly and accurately at all times;Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed andaccuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remainingcalm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly;understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part ofa team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guestinformation and pertinent hotel data.

Technical Skills: Knowledge ofproper chemical handling procedures; familiarity with cleaning equipment andsupplies.

Language: Required to speakbasic English.
