Talent Acquisition Specialist - Consulting & Technology

Overview Become part of the Team. Flexible Working: Employees work as part of a hybrid model. Office attendance is flexible, agreed upon with your people leader. You will be joining the US recruitment team and be based in either Boston, Chicago or Denver, primarily responsible for recruiting people into technology and consulting across the United States. You will be accountable for owning and delivering on our key initiatives including increasing direct hires and brand awareness in our markets by designing innovative attraction campaigns, LinkedIn direct sourcing and being an advocate for our employer brand both internally and externally. You will have a range of tools at your fingertips to support, including LinkedIn Recruiter and an array of capability specific platforms. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert, you will be familiar with the market, experienced in designing sourcing strategies and come with a range of techniques and strong experience recruiting technology and consulting roles. An excellent communicator, you will be confident in building positive relationships with your stakeholders, taking thorough notes which you are able to share with candidates. You will be responsible for managing your candidates, making sure candidates feel supported, engaged and kept in the loop throughout their journey. Work with your stakeholders to build a bird's eye view of talent needs and work in partnership with the recruitment team and your hiring managers to develop a delivery strategy. Design innovative sourcing strategies across online, offline and social channels to build the PA Consulting employer brand. Be adept at direct sourcing passive candidates on LinkedIn. Act as a subject matter expert to key internal stakeholders to engage and influence consistent and effective recruitment processes. Be data‑driven in your methods, with a firm understanding of how your recruitment metrics can be used to improve performance and lend you credibility with your stakeholders. Deliver market insight and intelligence by keeping up with industry trends. Be a champion of candidate experience, so that even unsuccessful candidates leave the process with a positive image of PA Consulting. Responsibilities The specialist will be primarily responsible for recruiting technology and consulting talent across the United States, owning key initiatives like increasing direct hires and enhancing brand awareness through innovative attraction campaigns. This involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert to design sourcing strategies, utilizing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, and managing the candidate journey to ensure engagement and support. Qualifications Direct recruitment experience with a blend of Technology and Consulting, specifically within an in-house environment. A proven sourcing capability and track record for unique and hard‑to‑find candidates, for industry specialist needs of the growing US business. Confidence in managing relationships with diverse and challenging stakeholders. Experience navigating a complex matrixed environment. Expertise in direct sourcing of passive candidates on LinkedIn. Proven experience in recruitment, selection and assessment tools/methods. Proactive and motivated approach, a real self‑starter. Strong written and oral communication skills, able to engage, influence and challenge business stakeholders. High energy and personal resilience, managing competing demands in a complex, matrixed environment. Ability to lead through ambiguity and change in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated partnering and teaming skills, supporting others in a team working environment and building internal networks to solve problems. At PA Consulting, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
