Structural Steel Project ManagerA growing and well-established structural steel fabricator and erector is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and institutional construction projects from award through closeout.This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organization with a strong backlog of work and long-term growth potential.Primary Responsibilities:Manage structural steel projects from contract award through final completionCoordinate detailing, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and field erection activitiesDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelinesServe as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsReview contracts, specifications, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change ordersMonitor project costs, labor productivity, and material procurementCoordinate with shop management and field superintendents to ensure project successNegotiate and manage change orders and project scope modificationsTrack project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and clientsEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetQualifications:Experience as a Structural Steel Project Manager or recent graduate with a construction management degreeStrong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processesExperience managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, or large-scale construction projectsAbility to read and interpret structural and architectural drawingsExperience with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of AISC standards and industry best practicesStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCompensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $80,000 – $135,000 DOEPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesStable workload with a growing and reputable steel contractorEarly Career Candidates Encouraged To Apply:Recent graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field are encouraged to applyCandidates with internship, co-op, field engineer, project engineer, estimating, or detailing experience within the structural steel industry are strongly preferredTraining and mentorship opportunities are available for motivated individuals seeking to develop into a Project Manager roleConfidential inquiries welcome.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
