Position Summary The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, assembling, and preparing medical instruments and equipment for patient care while maintaining strict infection-control and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities

Position Summary The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, assembling, and preparing medical instruments and equipment for patient care while maintaining strict infection-control and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments.
- Inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments.
- Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes.
- Maintain accurate records and follow infection-control procedures.
- Prepare and distribute sterile supplies to medical departments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.
- Licensure: CRCST or CBSPD accepted
- Certifications: BLS (AHA preferred or client specific)
- Immunizations: Based on client need
- Experience required: Based on client need
- Schedule: Based on client need
