Program Coordinator

Job Description

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system at UChicago Medicine as a Program Coordinator with our Holistic Oncology department in Hyde Park. In this role, you will partner with the rest of the clinical team to provide patients with the highest quality of care.


Supports the day-to-day operations of the Holistic Oncology department, programs, and services. Provides exemplary customer service to every person with a focus on creating a positive human experience, solving problems, and role modeling accountability and respect. Coordinates and manages administrative details and logistics for services under Holistic Oncology and within the Cancer Service Line. Works collaboratively with all team members and leaders through all phases of design, development, and delivery. Creates ideal experiences in person, on the telephone, and through electronic communications


Essential Job Functions

• Manages the logistical and administrative work to ensure all programs run smoothly in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
• Provides administrative support for the Director, Holistic Oncology team, service line leadership, and other department team members.
• Implement processes and practices to provide an ideal employee and patient experience for all participants.
• Support patient amenities throughout the Cancer Pavilion and oversee the conference space in the building.
• Maintain records for attendance, program evaluations, expenses, and vendor tracking.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• A minimum of 5-7 years' progressive experience in organizational development professional and/or learning and development, preferably in an educational, healthcare, or biomedical environment
• Extensive skill and practical use of software, web-based, and cloud-based applications including MS Office, Visio, MS Project, and LMS Administration
• Exemplary communication and customer service skills with proven experience
• Detail-oriented, process-focused, and highly professional
