Information Assurance Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst to support a federal customer focused on cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation for mission‑critical systems. This position is on‑site at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. The Information Assurance Analyst will support RMF activities, compliance assessments, and vulnerability remediation efforts to ensure systems meet federal security standards and maintain operational integrity. This role plays a vital part in protecting sensitive government systems and strengthening overall security posture. Responsibilities Maintain and enforce Information Security policies, standards, and guidelines across the organization Conduct compliance assessments and perform vulnerability scanning using ACAS; analyze results and recommend remediation strategies Update and manage Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) to track vulnerabilities through resolution Prepare audit reports with detailed findings and provide actionable remediation recommendations Support RMF processes, including development and maintenance of SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, and ATO documentation within eMASS Qualifications 3+ years of experience in information security, RMF, or compliance within a federal environment Experience with ACAS, eMASS, vulnerability scanning tools, and compliance frameworks Strong knowledge of RMF, POA&M management, audits, and federal Information Security policies Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required Compensation Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000 depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law Keywords: Information Security Analyst, RMF, ACAS, eMASS, POA&M, ATO, cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability scanning, federal security, MacDill AFB, Tampa, information assurance, risk management framework, audit reporting, security clearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
