Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations and comprehensive evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions via imaging studies and lab test interpretations
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to devise and implement specific surgical treatment plans tailored for each patient
• Provide integral intraoperative support, which involves preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handing over surgical tools during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that encompasses medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree obtained from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) for practice as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Strong grasp of surgical methodologies and sterile techniques
