Principal Product Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Principal Product Manager for a direct hire opportunity in the Atlanta, GA area. This resource will be responsible for driving the running product portfolio which includes hardware, software and software ecosystems. You’ll help define the full lifecycle of product execution from concept to launch while shaping competitive positioning and representing the client at events worldwide. It will require someone who has a passion for competitive athletics, running, and fitness lifestyle. You’ll conduct qualitative and quantitative research, user interviews, market assessments to find insights that help direct product decisions to build business cases. With your research you’ll be responsible to monitor the competitive landscape continuously, develop and maintain position frameworks that help the team respond efficiently and confidently when competition releases products.

Other Responsibilities include:

- Post Launch Performance Analytics

- Product Spokesperson and represent the client at trade shows, media engagements, etc

- Production Lifecycle Execution

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of product management experience

Experienced tracking records of launch and management of consumer hardware, software, connect devices, etc

Heavy competitive analysis background and able to translate findings into clear product roadmaps

Outdoor cycling technology, GPS bike computers, TRACKR radar, speed or cadence sensors, SPEEDPLAY pedals or power pedals, heart rate monitors, KICKR

Great communication and excellent presentation skills

Ability to understand and speak both technical and non-technical content

Experience with full lifecycle product development from concepts to launch Running technology background

Worked at Garmin, COROS, Hammerhead, SRAM, Peloton as a PM
