Job Title: LPN – Geriatric Care/LTC
Location: Tucson, AZ
Type: Full-Time | 12-Hour Day Shifts
Shift Timing: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Schedule Details

• Block Booking Available
• Candidates must follow the facility schedule
• Alternating weekly hours: Week 1: 36 hours | Week 2: 48 hours
• Weekend availability required

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting Full-Time job in Tucson, AZ.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and within scope of license
• Perform wound care, catheter care, tracheostomy care, gastrostomy/jejunostomy care, and other nursing treatments
• Observe and report resident conditions, responses to medications, and changes in health status
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and resident support
• Supervise subordinate staff and assist with staff training and development
• Participate in shift reports, staff meetings, and interdisciplinary care coordination
• Complete admission nursing assessments for newly admitted residents
• Ensure adequate supplies and medications are maintained on the unit
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and perform other assigned nursing duties
• Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Knowledge
• Geriatric and gerontological nursing practices
• Medication administration and pharmacology knowledge
• Resident care planning and implementation
• Knowledge of nursing procedures, treatment plans, and healthcare regulations
• Ability to supervise staff and maintain strong working relationships
• Excellent communication and observational skills

Requirements
• Active LPN License
• CPR/BLS Certification
• TB Skin Test
• Skills Assessment

Qualifications
• Previous geriatric or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong leadership and patient care skills
• Ability to work weekends and rotating schedules as required
