Job Opportunity: Fellowship-Trained Neurologist
Our organization is in search of a full-time, fellowship-trained physician who is either board-certified or board-eligible to join the newly established Headache Center within the Department of Neurology. We are looking for candidates who possess a passion for headache care and a creative approach to contribute to this pioneering team. This role presents a remarkable chance to influence the future of headache treatment, research, and education at one of the leading academic institutions in the United States.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a dedicated outpatient practice focused on headache medicine.
- Provide clinical care and perform procedures such as onabotulinumtoxinA injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks.
- Utilize advanced headache care options through both outpatient and inpatient infusion therapies.
- Collaborate with various specialties, including neuro-ophthalmology, sleep medicine, cognitive neurology, neurosurgery, psychology, and psychiatry.
- Engage in opportunities for career advancement in clinical education, research, and inpatient headache management.
- A medical degree (MD or DO) is mandatory, with a preference for board certification in Neurology.
- Possession of a Georgia medical license or the capability to obtain one is essential.
- Subspecialty training and/or certification in headache medicine is required.
