Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will ensure products and processes meet defined quality standards through testing, inspection, and documentation. This role supports the quality management system by implementing quality control procedures, collecting data, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.Special Mentions:Relocation providedTravel expected up to 10% of the timeInterviews will include a technical assessmentResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform quality inspections, tests, and evaluations on materials, components, and finished productsDocument quality results and maintain accurate records in quality management systemsSupport root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementationAssist with internal quality audits and preparation for external auditsMonitor and report on quality metrics and key performance indicatorsCollaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issuesMinimum Qualifications:2+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environmentExperience with inspection equipment, measurement tools, and testing proceduresKnowledge of quality methodologies and standards (e.g., ISO 9001)Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systemsPreferred Qualifications:Associates degree in a technical fieldExperience with statistical process control (SPC) techniquesFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principlesKnowledge of aerospace or defense industry quality requirements (AS9100)Culture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
