Title: Classroom Teacher (Math1.0 FTE) Position Type: High School Teaching Location: York Community High School Date Vacancy will Occur: 2026-2027 School Year Assignment Type: Full Start Date: 2026-2027 Qualifications Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons and strong collaborative skills are required. Experience with standards‑based learning is preferred. Experience with co‑teaching is preferred. Strong familiarity with Professional Learning Communities and data‑based decision‑making is preferred. Possesses knowledge of best practices as it relates to supporting all students’ ability to learn. Description Candidates should have a willingness and/or experience teaching a range of high school mathematics courses. Teachers in the Math Department work collaboratively with their course teams to design and implement lessons that encourage students to explore and uncover mathematics. Experience with Illustrative Mathematics preferred. Benefits Collective Bargaining Agreement linked here. Contains salary schedule along with benefits.
