Industrial Engineer Intern/Co-op We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer Intern/Co-op to join our team. This role is ideal for current students in their 3rd or 4th year seeking hands‑on experience in aerospace manufacturing within a dynamic and collaborative aerospace organization. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Perform time studies and analysis of assembly operations to streamline and eliminate bottlenecks Transition key processes from batch assembly to one‑piece flow Optimize fixture and tooling storage and presentation Develop workstation standards and POU inventory and tool staging Work with QE's on root‑cause analysis and develop poke‑yoke's to eliminate quality issues Work with supervisors to implement a sustainable productivity‑tracking process Create presentations to report on current projects to the Leadership team Performs other duties as required Required Skills Proficiency with MS Office applications Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent time‑management skills and ability to prioritize work effectively Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to perform and interpret statistical analyses Required Experience Some background or understanding of manufacturing processes with related coursework around process improvement or continuous improvement Completed courses on time studies and standard work analysis or experience in this area Completed courses in manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, production and process planning, facility planning and inventory control, or human factors and ergonomics Physical Requirements Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds Frequently work near heavy machinery or equipment Demands of a manufacturing environment Required Education Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Compensation & Benefits For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $22.00 to $25.00 USD hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the company’s 401(k) plan.
