Hi everyone — Dr. Tom Birong here.

Our office in Akron is growing, and I'm looking for the right Office Manager to join our team.

I know every office says they're different, but what I'm looking for goes beyond experience. I want someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, can lead a team through both the good days and the challenging ones, and understands that taking care of patients starts the moment the phone rings.

We're a busy private practice looking for a strong, organized leader who can help create an exceptional experience for our patients while keeping the office running smoothly.

What we're looking for:
• Dental office management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Someone who handles stress well and remains calm under pressure
• A team player who can hold others accountable while building positive relationships
• Someone who genuinely enjoys helping patients and supporting their team

What your days will look like:
• Answering phones and helping patients feel welcome
• Confirming appointments and managing the schedule
• Greeting patients and handling check-in/check-out
• Reviewing treatment plans and collecting co-pays
• Following up on patient accounts receivable
• Supporting and managing the team
• Helping navigate difficult conversations with professionalism and compassion
