We are looking for an HR Generalist to support core people operations for a growing organization in Massachusetts. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee support with day-to-day HR administration, onboarding coordination, benefits assistance, and HRIS-related tasks. Responsibilities:
• Support daily human resources operations, including maintaining employee records, responding to staff questions, and ensuring accurate documentation across HR activities.
• Guide the onboarding experience for new hires by coordinating paperwork, system entries, orientation steps, and communication with internal stakeholders.
• Assist employees and managers with employee relations matters by answering policy-related questions, escalating concerns when needed, and promoting consistent HR practices.
• Administer benefits-related processes such as enrollments, updates, and employee communications while helping resolve routine benefits questions.
• Maintain and update HRIS data to support reporting accuracy, personnel changes, and overall data integrity.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to help implement HR procedures and improve the employee experience throughout the organization.
• Help monitor compliance with company policies and employment requirements by keeping records organized and supporting audits or documentation reviews as needed.• Experience in a Human Resources Generalist or closely related HR support role.
• Working knowledge of employee relations practices and day-to-day HR administration.
• Hands-on experience coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.
• Familiarity with benefits administration, including employee support and record updates.
• Proficiency using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate personnel data.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
