Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active state licensure as an SLP in Iowa
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status required
- Experience in pediatric speech and language disorders, preferably within school settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to diverse caseloads and school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech and language development needs
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each student
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
- Document progress, create reports, and maintain compliance with IEP requirements
- Provide education and resources to students’ families and school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives
