Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12, 19:30–08:00) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED border setting, managing a wide variety of diagnoses including complex ED admission cases within a MS/Telemetry and IMC scope
• Manage a patient census ranging from a minimum of 10 up to 40 border patients daily across a 46-room unit at a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float as required between ED borders and extender assignments to MS/Telemetry and IMC units within specialty and scope
• Adhere to scheduled holiday requirements as they fall per unit schedule
• Maintain compliance with all facility onboarding, documentation, and module completion requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association only
• CPI Certification – The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• Ability and willingness to float within scope with no restrictions; travelers are first to float

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced ED, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or IMC environment
• First-time travelers are accepted; prior travel nursing experience is a plus
• Comfort working in a border or multi-unit float capacity
